Medicine, education and public health.

Dr Abdus Salam is a medical educationalist and public health specialist with more than four decades of experience in clinical service, medical and health professions education, research and academic administration.

His professional career has included medical education appointments in Malaysia at Widad University College, Asia Metropolitan University, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and Universiti Sains Malaysia, following clinical and academic roles in Bangladesh.

His expertise includes curriculum development, problem-based learning, student assessment, community-based education, faculty development, academic quality assurance and educational research.
